Xeinadin’s Chairman Alastair Marsh has made the decision to step down from his role after six years on the Board, with existing Xeinadin Board Director John Dwyer taking on the role of Chairman with immediate effect.

Alastair was appointed as Xeinadin’s Independent Non-Executive Chairman in 2021. He has continued to guide the business through significant growth and transformation, with a key milestone during his tenure being the successful sale of a minority shareholding in the business to Exponent in 2022.

Alastair commented: “Over the past six years, Xeinadin has undergone significant growth and development, scaling the business substantially and establishing it as a Top 15 accountancy firm in the UK. It has been an absolute privilege to work alongside Derry Crowley and the wider Xeinadin Executive Team during what has been an incredibly successful and transformational period for the business.”

Xeinadin’s new Chairman John Dwyer is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland and has previously led the UK and Global Deals business at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). John was part of the Exponent investment team, and joined the Xeinadin Board in 2022.

Derry Crowley, Chief Executive Officer of Xeinadin, commented: “I would like to thank Alastair for his great support and guidance over the years. His experience has been invaluable as he’s helped guide our business through significant growth and transformation, and I wish him every success for the future. I am also delighted to welcome John Dwyer as Xeinadin’s new Chairman. His knowledge of the industry and the Xeinadin business mean he is ideally placed to continue guiding the business on its ambitious journey of growth.”
