Xeinadin is delighted to announce its first London-based firm Elman Wall. The multiple-national award winner is the latest progressive Chartered Accountants firm to contribute to the development of the industry’s ‘Firm of the Future’.
Jonathan Wall, Managing Director, heads up the award-winning firm of nearly 40 team members, alongside 3 fellow Directors. The offices are based in the heart of the City of London very close to the Bank of England. The office location is highly desirable and allows the team to continue their expansion plans with the additional support of the wider firm.
The firm frequently wins audit, accountancy and tax planning services from much bigger firms than itself, including Top 10.
Xeinadin views Elman Wall’s entry as a major coup. The firm’s strategy focuses on strong growth – and introducing additional niche specialisms can contribute towards that. Known as The Travel Accountant’ Elman Wall, has over 200 tour operator and travel agency clients, making it a leading advisor in the travel industry. Many of these clients are nationally known and are best in class brand names. Elman Wall’s specialisms in travel include ABTA and ATOL reporting ; Travel VAT/TOMS expertise and Travel M&A. In addition, the firm as part of its strong industry presence, hosts it’s flagship annual “Travel Directors Summit” at Emirates Stadium which is recognised as an influential and leading event..
In addition to its major specialist service to the SME sector, Elman Wall has built a significant private client tax team who specialise in serving both non-UK domiciled taxpayers and High Net Worth individuals.
In June 2018, Xeinadin targeted Elman Wall for recognising the firm as being one of the country’s most successful award winners in recent times. Awards won include individual Best UK Small Accounting Firm; Best UK Employer and Best Greater London Small Accounting Firm all at the British Accountancy Awards, and the equally prestigious Best Single Office Tax Firm of the Year at the Tolley’s Taxation Awards. The firm has a policy not to re-enter awards that it’s already won.
On joining Xeinadin, Jonathan Wall said: “I was very surprised at the clarity and intensity of Xeinadin’s vision. We were astounded by their growing popularity as Xeinadin packed out London venues with prospective Xeinadin accountancy firms. Discreet meetings were held on a monthly basis as more and more firms committed to Xeinadin’s entry.
After attending a few meetings it became clear where our firm and clients would benefit from this unprecedented movement. We also recognised where we could contribute. Whilst we are very strong in our niche sectors, we realised we had not focussed as much as others in cloud accounting solutions to SMEs. Whilst historically this has not been a core service line for us, through our peers’ support, we will easily add these opportunities to best serve hundreds of smaller travel companies. This will contribute towards our planned ongoing growth.
With 150+ accountancy practices singing from the same hymn sheet, we believe Xeinadin can be one of the largest and best professional services firms in serving SMEs. Elman Wall carefully assessed the proposition for almost one year before entering.
This is a true collaboration of many like-minded peers. There’s a belief across the whole of Xeinadin that we are stronger as a focused firm than the sum of our individual firms outside the firm. This is a real community.”
