Kay Johnson Gee is a multi-award winning firm of chartered accountants and business advisors. Providing expert advice in taxation, corporate finance, audit, accounts, payroll and insolvency.

Founded in 1948 and today operating from landmark offices at 1 City Road East, it employs more than 60 staff with 6 partners. Their predicted revenues are in excess of £5m.

They are one of the region’s best established accountancy firms. Kay Johnson Gee has six partners Julian Beressi, Roger Blaskey, Alan Fallows, Mike Garrett and Alex White who, along with Corporate Finance director Steve Lindsay, jointly have 180 years’ experience between them. This gives the team a broad range of specialist skills and experience and ensures that clients can rely on them to solve a variety of issues.

Managing Director Julian Beressi is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years experience of advising owner-managed businesses across all industries on a wide variety of commercial matters, helping them to achieve their business objectives. As Head of the Forensic Accounting team, Julian works very closely with solicitors and barristers preparing reports as an expert witness.

On merging with over 150 accountancy practices Julian said: “We’ve followed this movement since May 2018. I’ve been very impressed with the organisation’s vision and ability to amalgamate a substantial community of accountants across both the UK and Ireland regions. Our firm has conducted much due diligence on the entire acquisition process. We are impressed with both the ability to merge 150+ independent practices and the outlook for the firms to work together for mutual benefit. The support and advice by a top 6 accountancy practice and a leading legal practice has supported our decision to proceed into the Xeinadin consolidation. We can also confirm this is the first consolidation of its type and believe our practice and its clients can prosper from the ‘Firm of the Future’ concept.

We are delighted to be able to support both the firm and non-Xeinadin professional firms with both our Corporate Finance and Business Recovery specialisms.

Our Business recovery team is headed by Alan Fallows, who has over 25 years hands-on experience and is authorised by the ICAEW to undertake Insolvency Appointments in the United Kingdom. He is a Member of the Insolvency Practitioners Society in Insolvency and an expert in all aspects of insolvency work, with an emphasis on corporate recovery. Xeinadin can now offer the UK business market a comprehensive business insolvency service including, Administration, Receivership, Creditors Voluntary Liquidation, Compulsory Liquidation and Members Voluntary Liquidation.”
